Treasuresabound's Squidoo Pages

I have been putting off writing this lensography for as long as I can remember and rightly so because it is not so easy to write about oneself, it doesn't come naturally to me. I know some people do not find it hard because there are loads of autobiographies out there to prove it but hopefully someday I would get the courage plus inspiring stories about myself that I would have to share with the whole world.

Well, I am going to try in my own little way to capture both the image and personality of treasuresabound. If I have to tell all about Treasuresabound, then this page may never end but I am going to try and make a very long story as short as possible or else I bore you.

My name is Chigozie Sophie aka Treasuresabound. The name Treasuresabound was born many years ago long before I ever thought I could possibly write something that people who do not know me personally would be interested in reading.

Growing up as a teenager, I loved books, read quite a lot of them and would happily spend my pocket money buying books but never did I consider myself a writer, that was my younger sister's specialty, she always wrote poems and short stories. I was more the science and maths "geek".

As a young child, I was always interested in science and knew that I'd definitely end up in the medical profession. And that's exactly where I found myself, but life, marriage and motherhood would change all that and steer me in a different direction.

If anyone had told me 10 years before now that I would be writing online and enjoying every minute of it, I wouldn't have believed them for one moment but we never know what we are capable of until we are challenged by fate and circumstances.

The name Treasuresabound came to be in the year 2003 and was derived from this bible verse that has so inspired me. John 10:10; "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." For me, this verse speaks of how Jesus has given us abundant life and everyone has got something special. We only need to look deep down, find it and use it to affect the people around us positively.

Well, enough of me now (seems like I could actually write an autobiography, ha ha ha!) but here are some of the articles that I have managed to write on Squidoo and I hope that as I continue to learn and grow, I will be able to make better and more interesting articles for my readers.

I have 3 young kids who are very active and always seeking my undivided attention.They love toys and books just like every other child and as a parent, you like to get them some toys that they can play with as they explore their world.
